Prof. Hattori from the School of Earth Sciences and Engineering, awarded Nishida Prize

Prof. Shohei Hattori from the School of Earth Sciences and Engineering, Nanjing University, has been awarded the prestigious Nishida Prize by the Japan Geoscience Union (JpGU). The Nishida Prize is named for member Prof. Atsuhiro Nishida (JpGU fellow), and is conferred upon researchers under the age of 45 who have provided an exceptional level of research in the field of Geo- and Planetary Science using a new approach, attaining international recognition.

Research Commended:

Atmospheric biogeochemical research on sulfur and nitrogen compounds using isotopologue analysis.
