Event: Lectures on Business by Assistant Prof. Luca LIN

NJU International Fellowship Initiative Lecture

Speaker:

Dr. Luca Lin is an assistant professor of finance at State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo. Before joining SUNY Buffalo, he worked at HEC Montreal from 2021 to 2024. Prof. Lin obtained his PhD from IESE Business School, Spain in 2021. He also has a master's degree from Thunderbird at Arizona State University and a bachelor's degree from University of Oregon.

His research interests focus on the influence of financial institutions on firm behavior. He has published his work in Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Financial Intermediation, Journal of Corporate Finance, among others. His papers have been presented at major finance conferences including CICF, NFA, leading business school, such as Hong Kong Baptist University, CUHK-Shenzhen, Monash University, Singapore Management University, IESE.
