On May 14th, Mr. Li Jinxiong, Chief Environmental Engineering Officer of ATAL, led a delegation to Nanjing University. Assistant President Ding Aijun met with the guests on Xianlin Campus.

Ding Aijun, welcomed Li Jinxiong and his delegation and expressed gratitude to Dr. Poon Lok To, founder of ATAL Engineering Group, for establishing the "Nanjing University Poon Lok To Fund." Ding Aijun pointed out that NJU has a long-standing and prominent history in environmental studies, with significant achievements in serving industrial development, ecological governance, and collaboration among government, industry, academia, and research in the Yangtze River Delta region. NJU will leverage its strengths in environmental science, artificial intelligence, chemistry, and chemical engineering to fully support the construction of the "NJU-ATAL Smart Environmental Technology Research Institute," continuously improve implementation plans and talent structures, deepen project collaboration, and look forward to exploring new fields in talent cultivation, resource integration, and open cooperation in the future.

Li Jinxiong, introduced the group's industrial development overview. He stated that NJU's School of Environment has already established a regular communication mechanism with the group. In May of this year, both parties reported on the progress of the research institute's construction to Tan Tieniu, Chair of NJU CPC Council, Dr. Poon Lok To, and Chairman Mak Kin Wah of ATAL Engineering Group. The group looks forward to continuously deepening exchanges and cooperation with NJU, and jointly creating a model of cross-regional collaboration among industry, academia, and research.

The delegation and experts from the Institute of Science and Technology and School of Environment conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as joint construction of the research institute and collaboration among industry, academia, and research.
