Speaker: Dr. Andrea Appolloni is a Full Professor (National Agency for the Evaluation of the University and Research Institutes) and Associate Professor of Management at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, specializing in operations, innovation, and sustainability. As an internationally renowned scholar, he serves as an editor for leading journals and advises the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). He led the €4M EU "SAPIENS" EU project and has published in top journals, including the Journal of Environmental Management. Honored as "Best Reviewer" and "Beijing Foreign Expert," he has been a visiting scholar in the UK, US, and China, advancing global academic collaboration. He was elected as one of the top 2% Scientists Worldwide in 2024 by Stanford University (Elsevier).
